We found a dolphin stranded in one of the beaches of Maio.
Today we had a dolphin stranding (globicephala sp.) in one of the beaches of Laja Blanca, Cascabulho, in the north of the island of Maio.
This is the second stranding of cetaceans that we recorded this year. After doing the mediations and sampling, the animal was buried.
Our technical teams continue patrolling other beaches in this area of the island to check if there were more audacious animals.
